Romania Animal aid, also known as Action Aid for Animals was founded in 2007. It was and remains the only UK Registered charity focusing on the plight of strays in Romania.
In the UK and other civilised countries we sometimes hear of an horrific act of animal cruelty that appauls and disgusts us all. In Romania, every single day in every city, every village these same cruel inhumane acts of torture and abuse are part of the countries culture and by the majority are accepted as common practice despite their being animal welfare laws. For the 10, 000,000+ strays that exist in Romania, every single day is a battle to survive the torture, abuse, disease and starvation. Action Aid for Animals is one, out of a handful of international organisations in Romania that are fighting to stop this, whilst continuing to help the victims of this abuse and cruelty via a number of projects we organise and maintain..
Just as the strays need our help, we need yours. Please take your time and check out our website, and if you can help us to help them, please do..The need has never been greater than it is now.
Our vets give there time and expertise free of charge. It is the equiptment that costs the most. By donating such surgical items means more animals are treated for free by our vets.
